A bandsaw is a saw that has a continuous metal saw blade in a band.
A resaw is a large bandsaw. It is used for cutting timber along the grain. It will reduce larger sections into smaller planks.
A head saw is generally the saw that would make the initial cuts in a log at the sawmill that makes the timber planks.
Double Cut Saws
Similar to the head saw, but has teeth on both sides of the blade.
